Transport Group
The Transport Group covers all forms of transport: road, rail, water, air. If it moves, usually under its own power, then we’re interested to learn more. Who makes it, how it works, its history, and possible future development.
Our activities generally involve daytime visits to transport-related venues within approximately 90 minutes’ travel time of Liphook. Most venues are museums with static and/or working displays. We will also visit heritage railways, classic car and bus rallies, and go on boat trips.
Occasionally we invite a guest speaker to give a talk about their particular transport subject, and these are held at the Liss Triangle Centre.
