Did you know that 120 million years ago when the rocks under Liphook formed, the area was at the bottom of a shallow sea, whereas 140 million years ago Liphook was a series of rivers and swamps with dinosaurs roaming around.
How do we know this? Come along and find out in a series of meetings, looking at rocks, fossils and geological maps, with simple exercises and occasional field trips.
